OPAL is the social layer for shopping. Your friends' purchases become your discovery feed.
Three taps turn a receipt into a shelf your friends can buy from.

Three taps
01
You buy
OPAL reads the receipt, and one tap puts the item on your shelf.
02
Friends see
Real items from real friends, with no algorithm and no sponsored posts.
03
They buy
One tap takes them to the same item at the same retailer.

Shoppers trust friends more than reviews again, and no platform can see that conversation. Trust in online reviews fell from 79% in 2020 to 42% in 2025. 89% still trust people they know.

The founder
I watched the mall die from inside it. I worked Old Navy, Banana Republic and Express through college and watched the stores empty out. People used to ask each other 'where did you get that?' while carrying bags. Now they ask in a group chat, and nobody has built anything for that.
